Power to Change film

Ends: 20:30

Can our advanced industrial civilisation meet the needs of a growing population without wrecking our planet? This informative and entertaining documentary explores existing and emerging possibilities for a radical re-imagining of how we power our world.

Through encounters with activists, entrepreneurs, sceptics, dreamers and policy makers at the heart of Germany’s energy revolution, Power to Change offers tangible pointers to the power we all have to put sustainability at the heart of the worlds transport, housing, agriculture and energy future.

There will be an opportunity for discussion afterwards.

Scottish Farm Land Trust mini-tour

26 June 2017

Starts: 18:00
Ends: 20:30

Nourish Scotland introduces the Scottish Farm Land Trust. They're aiming to increase access to land for small-scale, ecological agriculture by purchasing land to be held in trust and rented fairly to new entrants and young people.

The events will also be a chance to share more about your situation, and feed in to the Scottish Farm Land Trust’s report on access to land, small-scale farming, and supporting ecological agriculture in Scotland.

This will be at Glachbeg Croft, click here for directions.

Please get in touch with Bella - bella@nourishscotland.org.uk, 0131 2261497, if you are interested in attending, or if you cannot attend, but would like to be involved.
